My intention is for my practice to be a safe space and to be an ally for the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. As a CisHet, white, female (she/her), I am mindful of my ongoing personal work to ensure I am present and aware of my own unconscious biases as well as the inherent bias within therapy as a profession. I have experience working with the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities over my years in practice and always want to be able to act as a safe space for processing and healing and growing.

In my work as a perinatal mental health specialist I am also mindful of the challenges and discrimination that are faced by the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC families and want to create a space for all people who are on the unique journey of parenthood.
